Oyewole, granted the EFCC\u2019s motion for a stay of execution and proceedings in the contempt case, pending before the Kogi State High Court.<\/p>\n<p>The court held that the motion ex parte had merit and adjourned the hearing of the motion on notice to May 20, 2024.<\/p>\n<p>It also ordered substituted service of all processes in the case to be pasted at Yahaya Bello\u2019s last known address in Abuja.<\/p>\n<p>The appellate court\u2019s decision has halted the contempt proceedings against the EFCC and its chairman, and allows the appeal filed by the anti-graft agency against the ruling of the Lokoja High Court to proceed.<\/p>\n<p>The case is EFCC vs. Alhaji Yahaya Bello, Appeal No: CA\/ABJ\/CV\/413\/2024.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For More News And Analysis About <a href=\"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\">Nigeria<\/a> Follow <a href=\"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/\">Africa-Press<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Africa-Press &#8211; Nigeria.
