Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Youths of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Zamfara State have asked Governor Dauda Lawal to use the state\u2019s resources for the benefit of the citizens.<\/p>\n

The APC youths wondered why the governor did not set up a Judicial Commission of Inquiry to try the immediate past governor, Dr Bello Matawalle, for alleged corruption.<\/p>\n

According to them, there is also no subsisting court judgement that restrained the EFCC from investigating, arresting and prosecuting Matawalle.<\/p>\n

The youths also called on the EFCC and relevant anti-graft agencies to go after contractors that failed to execute contracts that have been paid for by previous governments.<\/p>\n

They warned the PDP administration against engaging in a campaign of calumny against members of the APC in the state.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are alarmed by the waste of Zamfara State scarce resources by Governor Lawal,\u201d the youth group said in a statement signed by Abubakar Ibrahim Gusau, its chairman.<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter elections, it is time for patriotism and governance, not politicking for 2027 general election. Enough of this distraction!\u201d<\/p>\n
