Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele on Sunday urged the people of Taraba State to embrace peace and pray for the success of Governor Agbu Kefas.<\/p>\n

This is coming a few days after the governor appointed a first class Chief of Takum, a position that has been vacant for more than 28 years.<\/p>\n

Some tribes have kicked against the appointment.<\/p>\n

In his advice, Primate Ayodele called on the aggrieved tribes not to fight about the new king because it will bring peace, happiness and joy to the state.<\/p>\n

He stated that the governor has good plans for the state and his decision to install a first class Chief of Takum was also borne out of his good intentions for the state.<\/p>\n

In a statement by his media aide, Oluwatosin Osho, Ayodele said: \u2018\u2019The people of Taraba should embrace Governor Agbu Kefas.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe issue of the new king must not cause issues because it will bring peace, happiness and joy.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnyone who fights about the new king is an enemy of the state. Kefas is God\u2019s project who has come to Taraba to do good for the people.\u201d<\/p>\n

Primate Ayodele reiterated that the kingship installation isn\u2019t an issue that should cause a crisis in the state because the governor isn\u2019t after misleading the people.<\/p>\n

He called on the traditional rulers to reign with the fear of God and do the right thing at all times.<\/p>\n

\u2018\u2019In the next 10 months, the governor will do so much for the youths, old people and the vulnerable.<\/p>\n

\u201cLet us wait and see. The governor hasn\u2019t come to mislead you but to do it better.<\/p>\n

The kingship isn\u2019t an issue, let there be peace in the state. Everyone should start praying for the Governor\u2019s success.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe kings should be careful and do the right thing and they should rule with the fear of God,\u2019\u2019 he said.<\/p>\n
