Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The death toll in the Kano mosque attack has risen to 18, with seven other victims bedridden.<\/p>\n

Reacting to the development, the National Chairman of All Progressives Congress, APC, Abdullahi Ganduje has promised to rebuild the mosque.<\/p>\n

Ganduje made the pledge during a sympathy visit to the victims at Murtala Mohammed Hospital, Kano, on Thursday.<\/p>\n

Our correspondent reports that 18 out of 25 victims of the attack have lost their lives, while seven are currently receiving treatment at the hospital.<\/p>\n

Ganduje, during the visit, prayed for the repose of the souls of those who have died as a result of the attack and wished those at the hospital quick recovery.<\/p>\n

Shafiu Abuvakar, 38, had set the mosque located at Gezawa Local Government Area, ablaze during early morning prayers last week.<\/p>\n
