Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Despite the confusion created by conflicting statements by the media aides of President Bola Tinubu, the Guards Brigades have arrived at the House of Representatives for the joint session.<\/p>\n

The advance team arrived around 10:47 am while the plenary session was ongoing.<\/p>\n

It would be recalled that Bayo Onanuga and Ajuri Ngelale had issued two contradictory statements on the appearance of the president.<\/p>\n

However, the Green Chamber is set for the joint session as the House has moved a motion to admit \u201cnon members\u201d into the chamber.<\/p>\n

The motion to admit non-members was moved by the Leader of the House, Julius Ihonvbere and seconded by the Minority Leader, Kingsley Chinda.<\/p>\n

The Deputy Speaker, Ben Kalu, had earlier announced that the Speaker, Tajudeen Abbas, and Senate President Godswill Akpabio are in a meeting over the planned joint session.<\/p>\n

Everything seems set for the appearance of the president, however, there is still uncertainty of if the president would be in attendance.<\/p>\n
