Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>A public commentator in Zamfara State, Alhaji Ahmed Bakare, has condemned the introduction of the new national anthem, saying it is not the priority of Nigerians now.<\/p>\n

Speaking with newsmen in Gusau, Zamfara State capital, Ahmed lamented that there is serious hunger and starvation in the country which he said the Tinubu administration needs to address urgently.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Federal Government is supposed to be mindful of the teething economic hardship biting Nigerians\u201d, he added.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is only someone who has eaten that can have the strength to sing the National Anthem.<\/p>\n

\u201cLet the government focus on projects that have direct bearing to the common man.<\/p>\n

However, he called on Nigerians to continue with their fervent prayers for the restoration of peace in the country.<\/p>\n
