Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has responded to attacks on him by Ladi Adebutu, the PDP governorship candidate in the last election.<\/p>\n

Abiodun, in his response on Sunday, said Adebutu lacks the mental capacity to assess the performance of his administration.<\/p>\n

The Special Adviser to Governor Dapo Abiodun on Information and Strategy, Kayode Akinmade, stated this in Abeokuta.<\/p>\n

PDP\u2019s Adebutu had on Friday accused Governor Abiodun of<\/p>\n

of \u201cthrowing parties\u201d for the commissioning of a few kilometres of road compared to his Oyo counterpart, Seyi Makinde, who inaugurated 77 km.<\/p>\n

Adebutu described Abiodun\u2019s infrastructural project as \u201ca show of diminished acumen.\u201d<\/p>\n

Akinmade, in response, urged Adebutu to focus on his criminal cases in court and go for rehabilitation after facing the full wrath of the law.<\/p>\n

He noted that Adebutu pretended to be blind to the developmental projects and policies of Governor Abiodun\u2019s administration in all the sectors of the state\u2019s economy, ignorantly thinking he could score cheap political points and sneak out of his present oblivion.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cAdebutu\u2019s recent gibberish in the media, where he queried the leadership capability of Governor Dapo Abiodun and his administration\u2019s performance, eloquently gives out the Peoples Democratic Party\u2019s governorship candidate as a man with little mind and zero cognitive capacity.\u201d<\/p>\n

He further said: \u201cLike he rightly observed, he should be ashamed of himself for coming from the same town with a personality like Prince Dapo Abiodun, who has showcased leadership acumen and rare sagacity for inclusive governance beyond expectations.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe hereby advise Adebutu to concentrate on his criminal case in court and face it squarely, while it is necessary for him to go for rehabilitation after facing the full wrath of the law on his atrocities.\u201d<\/p>\n
