Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State has stated that some people are negotiating with bandits without his knowledge in the state.<\/p>\n

Lawal made this known on Tuesday while fielding questions on Channels TV Sunrise Daily programme.<\/p>\n

The governor stated that he had met with President Bola Tinubu to explain the security situation in the state.<\/p>\n

He said, \u201cSomebody somewhere, somehow behind our back is negotiating with the bandits. As a governor of the state without my knowledge.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo some extent we know those negotiating with the bandits.<\/p>\n

\u201cI had to meet Mr President and complain one on one, and explain the true situation of what we\u2019re facing in terms of the security situation.<\/p>\n

\u201cHow many times are you going to keep negotiating, on what basis?\u201d<\/p>\n
