Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC, has collaborated with the International Telecommunication Union, ITU, and received support from the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office, FCDO, to prepare the ITU Collaborative Regulation Report on Nigeria.<\/p>\n

The report reviews Nigeria\u2019s approach to regulating Information and Communications Technology, ICT.<\/p>\n

The report was officially launched on July 22, 2024, at the NCC Mbora Annex Office by the Honorable Minister of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy.<\/p>\n

The report highlights Nigeria\u2019s collaborative regulatory efforts in the ICT sector.<\/p>\n

In his speech at the launch, Dr Bosun Tijani said \u201c15-20 years ago, NCC was just regulating the telecommunications sector.<\/p>\n

\u201cToday, NCC regulates the foundation for which any economy will be prosperous. Without communications technology, there is absolutely no nation today that is prosperous.\u201d<\/p>\n
