It is our responsibility; it is our constitutional right to express our displeasure at any given point in time when governance has failed us.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe people of the Niger Delta are not exceptions. We are part of the protest. Those within the corridor of power have been using thugs to suppress the protesters.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to the Ijaw youths president, Tinubu ought to have addressed the issues of dilapidated refineries, which, if fixed, would crash the price of petroleum products.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfter removing fuel subsidy, I was believing that if this president is someone that has economic understanding, by now, all three refineries owned by the federal government would have been functional, producing petroleum products to crash down the high cost of the product.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Dangote refinery shouldn\u2019t have been having issues with crude oil to produce petrol,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For More News And Analysis About Nigeria Follow Africa-Press<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Africa-Press &#8211; Nigeria.
