Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Osun-born Ajao Samson has been confirmed as the new world record title holder for the longest marathon read aloud by the Guinness World Record, GWR.<\/p>\n

Ajao made the announcement public in a post on his Facebook wall on Friday.<\/p>\n

Ajao wrote in the post: \u201cI am overwhelmed with joy and gratitude to God, my family, friends, and an indefatigable team for making the big dream come to reality.<\/p>\n

\u201cToday, I was confirmed as the new world record title holder for the longest marathon reading aloud by the Guinness World Record. I am glad to be an advocate for literacy development.\u201d<\/p>\n

In May 2024, Ajao, who hails from Iwo town and is a former student union president of the Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, attempted to set a new Guinness World Record.<\/p>\n

Ajao had intended to set the record for the longest reading time with a 214-hour marathon.<\/p>\n
