Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Umar Sani, ex-Senior Adviser on Media\/Publicity to former Vice President Namadi Sambo, has dismissed the threat by Nyesom Wike, Minister of the FCT, against the governors of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.<\/p>\n

Sani said Wike\u2019s threat is an empty boast as he does not have the instrument to cause crisis in any state.<\/p>\n

The statement comes after Wike said he will cause crisis in the state of any governor who tries to interfere in the affairs of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Rivers State.<\/p>\n

Speaking after voting at the State Congress of Rivers PDP in Port Harcourt, Wike said he was not prepared to leave the party for anyone.<\/p>\n

However, Sani, during an interview on Arise Television\u2019s Morning Show programme on Monday, described the threat as an empty boost, saying Wike cannot do anything.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cThere is no way for instance for anybody to say you can cause crisis in any state perhaps unless if he is saying that he will use the instrument of the Federal Government to cause crisis.<\/p>\n

\u201cWike being merely a minister of the federal Capital Territory cannot go and cause crisis in order States because he is not the commander in chief. He does not have the instrument, of course, to cause crisis.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know what type of crisis he means. if he means political crisis I think all the governors are in charge of the party in their respective States, so he cannot go there and penetrate and cause any political crisis for them.<\/p>\n

\u201cPerhaps there are another type of crisis he is looking at but whatever crisis, I think it is an empty boost. He cannot do anything.\u201d<\/p>\n
