Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The presidency on Tuesday dispatched a high powered delegation to Katsina State to condole with the family of late Hajiya Dada Yar\u2019Adua.<\/p>\n

President Bola Tinubu who is away in China to attend the Africa-China Cooperation Summit is believed to have directed the Vice President, Kashim Shettima to condole with the family.<\/p>\n

Late Hajiya Dada Yar\u2019Adua was the mother of late President Umaru Musa Yar\u2019Adua.<\/p>\n

Tinubu in a condolence message earlier said he commiserates with the Yar\u2019Adua family over the passing of Hajiya Dada.<\/p>\n

Hajiya Dada, mother of the late former President, Umaru Musa Yar\u2019Adua, and the late General Shehu Musa Yar\u2019Adua, passed away on Monday at a venerable age.<\/p>\n

Tinubu also condoled with Senator Abdulaziz Musa Yar\u2019Adua, the people of Katsina State, and to the many lives the late matriarch touched.<\/p>\n

\u201dThe President mourns Hajiya Dada, yet extols her legacy of compassion, faith, honesty, and good fellowship.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe President prays for the repose of the soul of the deceased and affirms that the beloved and remarkable matriarch of the Yar\u2019Adua family will always be remembered for the support, peace, joy, and comfort she offered to many,\u201d a statement by his media aide Ajuri Ngelale indicated.<\/p>\n
