Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Operatives of the Department of State Services, DSS, have stormed the office of the Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project, SERAP in Abuja.<\/p>\n

This was disclosed in a post via SERAP\u2019s official X handle on Monday.<\/p>\n

According to reports, the officers were demanding to see the rights group\u2019s directors.<\/p>\n

The post read: \u201cOfficers from Nigeria\u2019s State Security Service (SSS) are presently unlawfully occupying SERAP\u2019s office in Abuja, asking to see our directors.<\/p>\n

\u201cPresident Tinubu must immediately direct the SSS to end the harassment, intimidation, and attack on the rights of Nigerians.\u201d<\/p>\n

This is coming after the rights group had urged President Tinubu to direct the National Petroleum Company Limited, NNPCL, to quickly reverse the outrageous pump price of premium motor spirit, PMS.<\/p>\n
