Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Three policemen arrested and detained for the alleged murder of the Kwara State Polytechnic student, Abdulqoyyum Abdulyekeen Ishola, have reportedly been dismissed from the police force.<\/p>\n

The three officers were whisked to Abuja headquarters from Ilorin, for a discreet investigation into the alleged murder of the late student.<\/p>\n

The Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, had ordered the transfer of the case to Abuja for a proper probe into the matter.<\/p>\n

Late Abdulqoyyum Abdulyekeen Ishola, was allegedly murdered on September 4, 2024, by three policemen in the GRA area of the Ilorin metropolis.<\/p>\n

The management and students union government of the polytechnic had called for justice for the murder of the late student.<\/p>\n

The state police commissioner, Victor Olaiya, also vowed to dig into the matter to ensure justice for the family of the late student and the community.<\/p>\n

Called the PPRO of the state police command, DSP Ejire Adeyemi Toun, in Ilorin on Friday, she said \u201d I am yet to get the information to that effect on the dismissal of the three police operatives.\u201d<\/p>\n
