{"id":131886,"date":"2024-09-24T08:56:14","date_gmt":"2024-09-24T07:56:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\/uncategorized\/2027-weve-digital-opposition-pdp-dead-spiritually-physically-primate-ayodele"},"modified":"2024-09-24T09:59:16","modified_gmt":"2024-09-24T08:59:16","slug":"2027-weve-digital-opposition-pdp-dead-spiritually-physically-primate-ayodele","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\/parties\/2027-weve-digital-opposition-pdp-dead-spiritually-physically-primate-ayodele","title":{"rendered":"2027: \u2018We\u2019ve digital opposition, PDP dead spiritually, physically\u2019 \u2013 Primate Ayodele"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>Africa-Press &#8211; Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, on Tuesday, blasted the People Democratic Party, PDP, following the outcome of the governorship elections in Edo State.<\/p>\n<p>Primate Ayodele said the opposition parties in Nigeria were not on ground but active only on digital platforms.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement signed by his Media Aide, Oluwatosin Osho, Primate Ayodele mentioned that PDP\u2019s role as an opposition party had become expired because governors under the platform were dull.<\/p>\n<p>The prophet, who warned the PDP to watch out for electoral malpractices ahead of the Edo election, explained that the 2027 presidential election will not be free of electoral malpractices.<\/p>\n<p>According to Ayodele: \u2018\u2019I have been warning Edo PDP and Governor Obaseki about the outcome of the result seven different times but they refused to listen to warnings, they didn\u2019t do what was needed to win the election.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is what Nigerians should be expecting in 2027, if care isn\u2019t taken, election malpractice will determine who will win the election.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018\u2019There is no judiciary to win your rights; Edo is a precedent of what they should expect in 2027. The opposition is weak, PDP governors are all dormant, selfish and confused, the party is dead physically and spiritually.\u2019\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Primate Ayodele described opposition parties as people in bondage that have been reduced to ceremonial politicians.<\/p>\n<p>He mentioned some vibrant opposition members who had clout unlike the new generation of opposition parties.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018\u2019There is no opposition, the opposition is in bondage, they are just ceremonial governors, they don\u2019t have action.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhere are the likes of Wike, Saraki, Oshiomhole, Rotimi Amaechi, Fayose in opposition parties, they are all gone.
