Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The Director of the Abuja School of Social and Political Thoughts, Sam Amadi, on Wednesday, described the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, as the real problem with elections in Nigeria.<\/p>\n

Amadi said the opposition political parties always believe that INEC would help them rig the next elections.<\/p>\n

Posting on X, Amadi wrote: \u201cThe real problem with elections in Nigeria is @inecnigeria.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhy can\u2019t opposition politicians come together and demand quick constitutional amendment to end INEC and create a new body appointed as Uwais recommended? Why?<\/p>\n

\u201cThey believe INEC will rig for them next time? Foolishness.\u201d<\/p>\n

This is coming when INEC was accused of not ensuring a free and fair election in the just-concluded governorship election in Edo State.<\/p>\n

There are allegations of vote-buying and INEC officials colluding with politicians to write the results of last Saturday\u2019s election.<\/p>\n
