Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The Police on Thursday arraigned Mr Ezekiel Ogunbiyi, 32 and Wasiu Sule, 42, before an Iyaganku Magistrate\u2019s Court, Ibadan, for allegedly stealing pandrol clips worth N220,000.<\/p>\n

The duo whose addresses were not provided were charged with conspiracy and stealing, to which they pleaded not guilty.<\/p>\n

The Prosecutor, Insp Olalekan Adegbite, told the court that the defendants committed the offences on Sept. 14, at about 7:21am, at Bode-Igbo area of Ibadan.<\/p>\n

Adegbite said the defendants allegedly stole 44 pandrol clips, property of Nigeria Railway Corporation.<\/p>\n

He said the offences contravened Sections 517 and 390(9) of the Criminal Laws of Oyo State, 2000.<\/p>\n

The Magistrate, Mrs Oluwabusayo Osho, granted the defendants bail in the sum of N100,000 each with two reliable sureties in like sum.<\/p>\n

She adjourned the case until Dec.10 for a hearing.<\/p>\n
