{"id":132991,"date":"2024-10-03T19:03:49","date_gmt":"2024-10-03T18:03:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\/uncategorized\/osun-gov-adeleke-approves-n3-3b-for-retirees"},"modified":"2024-10-03T20:08:25","modified_gmt":"2024-10-03T19:08:25","slug":"osun-gov-adeleke-approves-n3-3b-for-retirees","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\/policy\/osun-gov-adeleke-approves-n3-3b-for-retirees","title":{"rendered":"Osun gov, Adeleke approves N3.3b for retirees"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>Africa-Press &#8211; Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, approved the sum of three billion, three hundred million Naira (N3,300,000,000.00) for the payment of accrued rights (bond certificates) of workers who retired under the Contributory Pension Scheme across the state.<\/p>\n<p>The state government made this known through a statement by Ayanleye Aina, the State Head of Service, on Thursday in Osogbo.<\/p>\n<p>The statement revealed that of the stated amount, N1.5 billion is earmarked for retirees at the state level, comprising ministries, departments, agencies, secondary school teachers, and staff of tertiary institutions.<\/p>\n<p>The remaining N1.8 billion, the statement also revealed, is for workers who retired in the local government service, as well as junior and primary school staff across the state.<\/p>\n<p>The statement reads, \u201cOf this amount, N1.5 billion is for retirees at the state level, comprising ministries, departments, agencies, secondary schools, and tertiary institutions, while the sum of N1.8 billion is for those who retired in the local government service, junior, and primary schools across the state.
