Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The Jigawa State Government has said the All Progressives Congress, APC\u2019s widespread influence and performance in delivering democratic dividends weakened the opposition parties from participating in the local Government elections.<\/p>\n

Secretary to the State Government, Bala Ibrahim, disclosed this while commenting on the conduct of the election after casting his vote at Gurzawa 042 in Birninkudu local Government area.<\/p>\n

He explained that, significant strides in infrastructure development, education, healthcare, and rural development have cemented the APC\u2019s place in the hearts of the electorate, making it nearly impossible for the opposition to gain a foothold\u201d<\/p>\n

According to him, \u201cSince the coming of APC in 2025, the party is getting stronger and stronger winning all the elections conducted including the National elections and state elections.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese is weakened the oppositions parties to participate because they Jigawa is for APC and they will not win even a single seat.\u201d<\/p>\n

Commenting on the conduct of the election, the SSG expressed his satisfaction with the process of the exercise.<\/p>\n

The oppositions parties have challenged Jigawa State Independent Electoral Commission, JISIEC, for making the price of nomination form higher.<\/p>\n
