{"id":133940,"date":"2024-10-12T09:23:36","date_gmt":"2024-10-12T08:23:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\/uncategorized\/police-nab-man-for-allegedly-defiling-12-year-old-daughter-in-ogun"},"modified":"2024-10-12T10:27:46","modified_gmt":"2024-10-12T09:27:46","slug":"police-nab-man-for-allegedly-defiling-12-year-old-daughter-in-ogun","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\/all-news\/police-nab-man-for-allegedly-defiling-12-year-old-daughter-in-ogun","title":{"rendered":"Police nab man for allegedly defiling 12-year-old daughter in Ogun"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>Africa-Press &#8211; Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Operatives of the Ogun State police have arrested a 41-year old man for having unlawful sexual relationship with his 12-year-old biological daughter (name withheld) in Yewa-North local government area of the state.<\/p>\n<p>The suspect identified as Aliu Ibrahim who lives in Papa Olosun area of Oja-Odan was arrested on Thursday following a complaint by his estranged wife, Egbebi Temitope.<\/p>\n<p>The police spokesperson, Omolola Odutola on Friday told DAILY POST that Temitope had alleged that the victim\u2019s father was having carnal knowledge of her (victim) every time she visited him for the holidays.<\/p>\n<p>According to Odutola, Temitope said she found out when she took the girl to the State Hospital, Ilaro for examination and treatment of infection.<\/p>\n<p>Odutola said, \u201cOn Thursday at about 1410hrs one Egbebi Temitope \u201cf\u201d of Papa Olosun area of Oja-Odan reported an immoral behavior of her estranged husband one Aliu Ibrahim \u201cm\u201d 41 years old of the same Papa Olosun area of Oja-Odan. He was discovered to have been having unlawful carnal knowledge of their 12 years old daughter.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe defiled her since about two years ago each time the innocent girl went to spend holiday with him.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe sexual assault was discovered when she took the girl to State Hospital, Ilaro for examination and treatment over untreated vaginal discharge that has been occurring in the little child\u2019s reproductive organ for an unknown period.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She noted that on the information, the alleged pedophile father was arrested and on interrogation confessed to the crime.<\/p>\n<p>The PRO stated that preliminary investigation is ongoing after which the suspect will be transferred to the state criminal investigation department for further investigation and prosecution.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For More News And Analysis About Nigeria Follow Africa-Press<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Africa-Press &#8211; Nigeria.
