Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Gunmen suspected to be armed robbers shot and injured a 22-year-old man, Goodluck Joe, on Friday in Mosogar community, Ethiope-West Local Government Area of Delta State.<\/p>\n

It was reported that the incident occurred while the victim was on his way home, when the gunmen accosted, shot, and seriously injured him along Otubu Church Road, Mosogar.<\/p>\n

The attackers also stole his mobile phone and left him in the pool of his blood.<\/p>\n

Goodluck was rushed to the Delta State University Teaching Hospital (DELSUTH), Oghara.<\/p>\n

Medical scans revealed that he was suffering from internal bleeding.<\/p>\n

The victim is currently fighting for his life.<\/p>\n

At the time of this report, the victim\u2019s relative, identified as Voltage Gbagbanor, expressed gratitude to everyone for their support and prayers during this difficult time.<\/p>\n

He also appealed to the public for financial assistance to help cover the victim\u2019s substantial medical bills.<\/p>\n

Gbagbanor stated, \u201cPlease join us in prayer and in fundraising to restore this innocent boy to good health. Thank you.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, has yet to respond to confirm the incident.<\/p>\n
