Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The All Progressives Congress (APC) has won all the seats in the local government election held on Saturday in Kogi State.<\/p>\n

The Kogi State Chairman of the Independent Electoral Commission (KOSIEC), Mamman Eri, disclosed this while announcing the results of the election on Saturday night.<\/p>\n

\u201cAPC performed excellently; it cleared all the chairmanship and councillorship positions, leaving nothing to the other 18 political parties that took part in the election.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe results declared at the headquarters were earlier declared at the various collation centres by the respective returning officers.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs chairman of KOSIEC, I hereby confirm the results earlier collated and returned by the returning officers,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

He thanked the electoral officials, security operatives, observers and newsmen for their support that made the election a success.<\/p>\n
