Justice A. A. Onojovwo, ordered the remand pending trial based on the evidence available.<\/p>\n<p>The suspect was arraigned by the police on charges of alleged defilement, DAILY POST reports.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement today, a human rights group, Initiative for Social Rights Concerns and Advancement (ISRCA), also known as \u201cNo Justice, No Peace,\u201d led by National Coordinator Comrade Derrick Oritsematisan Agberen, stated that the suspect\u2019s identity would be withheld from the public until he is either convicted or acquitted by the court.<\/p>\n<p>The group expressed gratitude to the Divisional Police Officer (DPO), Divisional Crime Officer (DCO 1) of the Otu-Jeremi Division, and the Ughelli Area Command for their efforts in seeking justice for the young victim.<\/p>\n<p>It is recalled that on October 10, 2024, ISRCA raised the alarm on its Facebook page regarding the incident, alleging that the child was seriously harmed by the suspect.<\/p>\n<p>The group, led by its National Coordinator, Comrade (Amb.)
