Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, on Friday, urged Nigerians to prepare for more economic hardship in 2025 because it won\u2019t be a smiling year for Nigeria.<\/p>\n

In a statement signed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, Primate Ayodele revealed that things will become harder and the government will continue to tax citizens with increments in tariffs for basic things.<\/p>\n

He stated that the Nigerian system will collapse if the government doesn\u2019t do the right thing and that the rich will start becoming scared to move around because people will be angry and ready to attack anyone including governors and politicians.<\/p>\n

According to Ayodele: \u2018\u2019The fact remains that from now till February, things will be harder than before. What is the government doing?<\/p>\n

\u201cThey refuse to listen to simple instructions and the more the government fails to listen, the more difficult things will be.<\/p>\n

\u2018\u2019Nigeria hasn\u2019t seen any yet because there is confusion in the economic realm which the government failed to handle. There will still be more increment in fuel prices despite the presence of Dangote refinery.<\/p>\n

\u201cBy next year, there will be an increase in electricity and telecommunication tariffs. This government will inflict more hardship on the people with taxes.\u2019\u2019<\/p>\n

\u2018\u2019The Nigerian system will collapse if the government doesn\u2019t do the right thing, a lot will happen before 2027, don\u2019t let democracy lead to bitterness.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe government should act before this gets out of hand,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

He asked Nigerians to pray not to experience a famine situation because the minimum wage will not be enough to do anything and it would get to a stage where states will run into debt.<\/p>\n

Ayodele said: \u201cThe country is yet to understand because the situation we will meet ourselves will not be palatable, 2025 isn\u2019t a smiling year at all. There are still more woes for the Nigerian Naira, we need the divine help of God. Let\u2019s pray not to reach the famine stage in this country.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe increment in minimum wage will not mean anything for Nigerians, from next year, you will see N200 as N5 because it will have no value again. Even governors will be complaining, they will run into debt despite federal allocation. States will be in total confusion, some will borrow money till they are unable to borrow again.\u201d<\/p>\n

He called on the government not to see his prophecy as doom but the truth because they had failed to listen to simple instructions.<\/p>\n

Primate Ayodele asked Nigerians not to disturb God with prayers because the situation in Nigeria needs action.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is not doom but the truth even though it\u2019s better, let\u2019s wait and see. 2024 is an intro of 2025, there will be a shortage of food, and we don\u2019t have to disturb God with our prayers.<\/p>\n

\u201cUnless the government does the needful, Nigerians should prepare for more of what they are currently experiencing,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
