Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani, has called on the Nigerian government to withdraw the charges against the end governance protest minors.<\/p>\n

Sani described the arraignment of the minors as unfortunate and shameful.<\/p>\n

Posting on X, the former lawmaker said the Nigerian government should return the minors to their respective states.<\/p>\n

He wrote: \u201cThe arraignment of those minors for their participation in protest is most unfortunate and shameful for our country\u2019s democracy.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe FG should withdraw the charges against them and return them back to their states.\u201d<\/p>\n

76 persons were arraigned on Friday at the Federal High Court in Abuja for participating in the recent EndBadGovernance protest.<\/p>\n

DAILY POST reports that one of the minors arraigned collapsed before the commencement of the trial.<\/p>\n

The minors were part of those arrested during the EndBadGovernanceInNigeria protest in the country.<\/p>\n
