Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Ahead of the forthcoming off-cycle November 16 governorship election in Ondo State, Governor Usman Ododo of Kogi State has urged the Ebira community, resident in Ondo State to vote for Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa.<\/p>\n

Ododo made the appeal on Saturday while leading the gathering of Ebira indigenes in Owo, headquarters of Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State where he drummed support for Aiyedatiwa.<\/p>\n

According to Usman, the Ebira people have unanimously resolved to back Aiyedatiwa due to his strides in the state, particularly his passion for non-Indigene residents in the state.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe entire Ebira community across Ondo State, have resolved to support and vote for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the coming election in this state. Governor Aiyedatiwa, the Ebira community stands with you.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are here in solidarity because we believe in continuity. Since the passing of the late Governor Akeredolu, you have upheld his legacies and continued the good work he started.<\/p>\n

On his part, Aiyedatiwa, who expressed gratitude for the community\u2019s support, lauded President Bola Tinubu\u2019s commitment to the economic development of the state.<\/p>\n
