Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Daniel Bwala, an ex-aide to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, has alleged that some persons in government are hellbent on subverting President Bola Tinubu to make him unpopular.<\/p>\n

The statement comes amid the controversy surrounding the arraignment of the malnourished EndBadGovernance protesters.<\/p>\n

Uproar and public outcry greeted the arraignment of protesters, mostly minors, who participated during the recent EndBadGovernance protest.<\/p>\n

However, in a post on his X handle on Saturday, Bwala described the development as \u2018totally unnecessary and bad optics for anyone involved in the entire process, from national security to law enforcement.\u2019<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cThe prosecution of these minors is totally unnecessary and bad optics by anyone involved in the entire process from national security, to law enforcement. Thank God the president @officialABAT intervened timeously.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe \u201cwill\u201d must be shown in dealing with \u201csponsors of\u201d over and above \u201cperpetrators of\u201d These minors are human shields to the sponsors<\/p>\n

\u201cIt seems some people in government are hellbent on subverting the president to make him unpopular by their share garrulous and incompetent behaviours.\u201d<\/p>\n
