Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The All Progressives Congress, APC, has said the former presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar, would have done more of the same old failed policies.<\/p>\n

APC National Publicity Secretary Felix Morka said Atiku never prescribed anything regarding unified exchange regime and fuel subsidy removal.<\/p>\n

Atiku had reeled out a number of measures he would have adopted to salvage Nigeria\u2019s economy if he had emerged president.<\/p>\n

The former Vice President described Tinubu floating the exchange rate system as an overkill, urging the President to be humble enough to borrow from his ideas.<\/p>\n

Reacting, Morka maintained that Atiku is aware that price increase is inevitable.<\/p>\n

Morka stated this in a statement titled, \u201cAtiku would have done more of the same old, failed policies.\u201d<\/p>\n

The statement posted on X reads: \u201c@atiku Abubakar is well aware that price increases are an inevitable consequence of implementing a unified exchange regime and removing petrol subsidy. There\u2019s no magic bulwark against that. Atiku did not prescribe any.\u201d<\/p>\n
