Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Former international, Nwankwo Kanu says the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, should hire Augustine Eguavoen as substantive head coach of the Super Eagles.<\/p>\n

Eguavoen was appointed caretaker coach of the Super Eagles in September.<\/p>\n

The Super Eagles have won three and drawn one of their four 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixtures under his tutelage.<\/p>\n

Kanu claimed the former defender has done enough to lead the team.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf I were the NFF President, I\u2019d have given him the job by now,\u201d the Enyimba chairman told Brila FM.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat are they waiting for? Are we waiting for him to lose two matches before we say he should go? This is overdue; they have to act.\u201d<\/p>\n
