Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Operatives of the CP-Special Assignment Team CP-SAT led by ASP Julius Robinson have arrested five suspected cultists in Oton Community, a suburb in Sapele, Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State.<\/p>\n

The suspects were arrested on 04\/11\/2024 between 0300hrs to 0530hrs.
\nDelta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe confirmed the report in a statement sent to our correspondent in Warri.<\/p>\n

The Police image maker gave the names of the arrested suspects to includes, Eremoje Dudun Oritsedere aka (General) m, 34yrs of Deghele community in Warri South West LGA Delta State but a resident of Oton Community in Sapele, who was alleged to have in his possession the gang\u2019s AK-47 rifle,<\/p>\n

Emmanuel Irhurhu m\u201d 29yrs of Oton community in Sapele, Godstime Jacob m\u201d 25yrs of Jesse community in Ethiope west LGA Delta State, Ighene Jefrry m\u201d 29yrs of Jesse Town in Ethiope Lga Delta State and Iboyi Gain m\u201d 33yrs of Mosoghar Community in Ethiope West LGA Delta State.\u201d<\/p>\n

He also said, \u201cPreliminary investigation revealed that they are suspected to be members of the supreme Vikings Confraternity.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe suspects were arrested on the strength of confessions made by one Philip Okunumah aka \u201cG3\u201d m\u201d 28yrs of Jesse in Ethiope West LGA Delta State earlier arrested, who confessed to a series of cult-related killings.<\/p>\n

\u201cAn abandoned operational Toyota Corolla with Reg No KWL 635 BU and a Beretta Pistol Loaded with four(4) rounds of live ammunition were also recovered.\u201d<\/p>\n
