{"id":145618,"date":"2025-01-09T14:56:39","date_gmt":"2025-01-09T13:56:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\/uncategorized\/enugu-cp-decorates-92-newly-promoted-officers-tasks-them-on-renewed-dedication"},"modified":"2025-01-10T12:15:40","modified_gmt":"2025-01-10T11:15:40","slug":"enugu-cp-decorates-92-newly-promoted-officers-tasks-them-on-renewed-dedication","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\/policy\/enugu-cp-decorates-92-newly-promoted-officers-tasks-them-on-renewed-dedication","title":{"rendered":"Enugu CP decorates 92 newly-promoted officers, tasks them on renewed dedication"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>Africa-Press &#8211; Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The Commissioner of Police in Enugu State, Mr Kanayo Uzuegbu, has decorated 92 newly-promoted senior officers in the state command.<\/p>\n<p>The officers, who were recently elevated to their next ranks by the Police Service Commission, included: 20 Chief Superintendents of Police, CSP; 18 Superintendents of Police, SP, and 54 Deputy Superintendents of Police, DSP.<\/p>\n<p>Decorating the officers on Thursday in Enugu, the CP congratulated and tasked them to be diligent in the performance of their duties.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, their promotion should be considered a call to greater dedication, responsibility and discretion in the discharge of their duties.<\/p>\n<p>The CP said that the elevation should serve as motivation for increased diligence and productivity.<\/p>\n<p>The Command\u2019s Management team members, including DCP Olasoji Akinbayo (in-charge of Operations), DCP Adebowale Lawal (in-charge of State CID) and ACP Hope Isiani-Okereke (in-charge of Department of Finance and Administration) also congratulated the newly-promoted officers.<\/p>\n<p>They collectively admonished the newly-promoted personnel to remain committed, professional and to uphold the integrity expected of their new ranks.<\/p>\n<p>Responding on behalf of the newly-promoted officers, CSP Chidozie Okebugwu expressed gratitude to the Inspector-General of Police, Dr Kayode Egbetokun, for recommending them for the promotion.<\/p>\n<p>Okebugwu, who is also the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Abakaliki Road Division, also appreciated the Police Service Commission for approving the promotion.<\/p>\n<p>He thanked the Commissioner and his management team for their guidance, while assuring that the newly-promoted officers would uphold their trust, remain dutiful and strive to exceed expectations in their new capacities.<\/p>\n<p>The spouses, relatives, friends and associates of the newly-promoted officers also attended the decoration ceremony.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For More News And Analysis About <span style=\"color: #ff6600\">Nigeria<\/span> Follow <span style=\"color: #ff6600\">Africa-Press<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Africa-Press &#8211; Nigeria.
