{"id":146467,"date":"2025-01-16T21:43:59","date_gmt":"2025-01-16T20:43:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\/uncategorized\/tinubus-economic-reforms-will-liberate-nigeria-bisi-akande"},"modified":"2025-01-21T16:22:01","modified_gmt":"2025-01-21T15:22:01","slug":"tinubus-economic-reforms-will-liberate-nigeria-bisi-akande","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\/policy\/tinubus-economic-reforms-will-liberate-nigeria-bisi-akande","title":{"rendered":"Tinubu\u2019s economic reforms will liberate Nigeria \u2014 Bisi Akande"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>Africa-Press &#8211; Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The pioneer National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Chief Adebisi Akande has described President Bola Tinubu\u2019s economic reforms as a child of necessity, deliberately designed to eradicate bad governance and liberate the country from the shackles of political brigandage, retrogression and bad leadership that characterised past administrations in the country.<\/p>\n<p>Akande noted that the policies of the federal government under President Tinubu are genuinely tailored to rebirth and reset the country to the path of greatness, socioeconomic rejuvenation, sustainable growth and development as envisaged by her founding fathers.<\/p>\n<p>The APC National Leader spoke in his Ila-Orangun country home during his 86th birthday lecture and inter-denominational prayers on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Akande who reaffirmed his confidence in the Tinubu\u2019s Renewed Hope Agenda noted that the President\u2019s economic reforms have been yielding positive results.<\/p>\n<p>He assured that in no distant time, the country would become a model for her counterparts across the globe.<\/p>\n<p>He revealed that the APC was formed to restore good governance in Nigeria which he said Tinubu has been working tirelessly to achieve.<\/p>\n<p>Akande added: \u201cToday, I am happy that our great party is working tirelessly to liberate Nigeria and permanently end bad governance that had plagued the country for years. So, I am fulfilled and I don\u2019t have any regret whatsoever on anything because All Progressives Congress was formed as a political party to remove the bad governance that Nigerians endured over the years, and the work is ongoing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe All Progressives Congress under former President Buhari did eight years and now under President Bola Tinubu is doing it for the second year, the goal is to correct the bad governance that has been established over the years, so Nigeria can get back on track.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNigerians should appreciate, though we are not there yet and every individual\u2019s pride should be rooted in honesty. We must strive to be honest with our country, avoid fraud, and do things the right way, so Nigeria can move forward.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPresident Bola Tinubu\u2019s policy aims to liberate Nigeria from its current challenges and set the nation on a path to prosperity.
