Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Kano Pillars chairman, Alhaji Ali Muhammad Umar, has praised the players despite their loss to Remo Stars.<\/p>\n

The Sai Masu Gida suffered a 2-1 defeat to Remo Stars in Ikenne on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Umar commended the players for their performance in the game.<\/p>\n

\u201cI must commend the players and the technical crew for the way they approached the game. From the first whistle to the end of regulation time, they played with passion and dominated the match,\u201d Umar told Kano Pillars media.<\/p>\n

\u201cSometimes, football can be cruel, and we were just unlucky not to secure all three points.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe must build on this performance. The season is still ongoing, and I believe with more effort, we will achieve our objectives.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kano Pillars will square up with rivals Katsina United in a matchday 20 rescheduled encounter at the Sani Abacha Stadium on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
