Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>A total of 47 suspected internet fraudsters have been arrested at different locations in Ekpoma, Edo State.<\/p>\n

Operatives of the Benin Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, carried out the arrests on Saturday.<\/p>\n

A statement issued on EFCC X page on Monday said the suspects were arrested based on credible intelligence that linked them to fraudulent internet activities.<\/p>\n

Items recovered from them include 14 exotic cars, laptops and phones.<\/p>\n

The Commission added that the suspects have made useful statements and would be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.<\/p>\n
