Sani on Tuesday, wrote on his verified Facebook page;<\/p>\n

\u201cChief Edwin Clark; the nation has lost a great and distinguished Elder statesman. He was a champion for the cause of unity, peace, equity and justice. A restless voice of reason. May his soul rest in peace.Ameen.\u201d<\/p>\n

The family of the 97 years old, former Federal Commissioner for Information and South-South announced the leader\u2019s death as confirmed in a statement by a representatives of the family, Prof C. C. Go Clark, on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

The statement read, \u201cThe Clark-Fuludu Bekederemo family of Kiagbodo Town, Delta State, wishes to announce the passing of Chief (Dr.) Sen. Edwin Kiagbodo Clark OFR, CON on Monday, 17th February 2025.<\/p>\n
