Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Norwegian club, ODDS BK have announced the signing of Nigerian midfielder, Adam Mukhtar, DAILY POST reports.<\/p>\n

The modest club took the decision to sign the youngster after he impressed during his trial period.<\/p>\n

Mukhtar, who moved to Odd from Nigeria National League, NNL, club, Sporting Lagos, signed a contract until 2027.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am incredibly happy and excited. This is a moment I have been waiting for my whole life, and it is the biggest moment of my career so far,\u201d he told the club\u2019s official website.<\/p>\n

Many youngsters have struggled to cope with the rigours playing in Europe at the start of their career.<\/p>\n

Mukhtar is, however, ready for the task ahead of him.<\/p>\n

\u201cFootball is football, but the tactics and the way of playing here are a little different from what I am used to.<\/p>\n

\u201cI hope to adapt quickly, because I already feel that this is a step up from football in Africa. My teammates and the coaching staff have been fantastic with me \u2013 they have helped me both on and off the pitch. I really feel at home here,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
