{"id":151766,"date":"2025-02-20T20:18:01","date_gmt":"2025-02-20T19:18:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\/uncategorized\/gov-fintiri-installs-michika-king-7th-of-new-chiefdoms-in-2-weeks"},"modified":"2025-02-20T23:47:18","modified_gmt":"2025-02-20T22:47:18","slug":"gov-fintiri-installs-michika-king-7th-of-new-chiefdoms-in-2-weeks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\/policy\/gov-fintiri-installs-michika-king-7th-of-new-chiefdoms-in-2-weeks","title":{"rendered":"Gov Fintiri installs Michika king, 7th of new chiefdoms in 2 weeks"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>Africa-Press &#8211; Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State on Thursday performed the coronation of the new king for Michika people, the Mbege Ka Michika, Professor Bulus Lukas Gadiga.<\/p>\n<p>The Michika coronation came as the seventh and last for the seven chiefdoms and emirates which the state government created last year.<\/p>\n<p>The coronation exercises began in Fufore on 5th February 2025 and continued with Yungur: 6th February, 2025; Gombi: 8th February; Maiha: 13th February; Hong: 14th February; Madagali: 19th February and Michika: 20th February 2025.<\/p>\n<p>In his speech during the coronation ceremony of the Mbege Ka Michika Thursday afternoon, Fintiri asked the paramount king to provide effective governance in his domain, drawing all his people together.<\/p>\n<p>Fintiri urged him to galvanize his people into a model of unity, strength and progress<\/p>\n<p>In his acceptance speech after he had been presented his staff of office, the Mbege Ka Michika said he was committed to a reign which would ensure that everyone of his people feels valued.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe assure the governor that we cherish the freedom that he has brought to us and we will work tirelessly to protect it,\u201d Gadiga said.<\/p>\n<p>The Michika Chiefdom has the Michika Loca Government Area, one of the biggest in land size and human population in Adamawa State, as its territory.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For More News And Analysis About <span style=\"color: #ff6600\">Nigeria<\/span> Follow <span style=\"color: #ff6600\">Africa-Press<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Africa-Press &#8211; Nigeria.
