Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The Jigawa State Government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with three leading security service providers to protect critical public institutions, including schools, hospitals, and courts.<\/p>\n

The historic agreement was formalized by Malam Bala Ibrahim, the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State (SSG), who underscored the government\u2019s unwavering commitment to safeguarding citizens.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis landmark initiative reaffirms our dedication to ensuring the security and well-being of our people,\u201d Ibrahim said.<\/p>\n

He elaborated on the initiative\u2019s goals, stating, \u201cWe aim to implement comprehensive security strategies that address the specific needs of each institution, which will include deploying trained security personnel and providing on-the-job training for teachers, healthcare workers, and judicial staff.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ibrahim emphasized that the protection of children in schools, healthcare workers in hospitals, and judicial personnel in courts is of utmost importance.<\/p>\n

He described the partnership as a proactive approach to ensuring these essential services operate in secure environments, free from the threat of security risks.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis collaboration is not just about responding to immediate challenges,\u201d Ibrahim continued. \u201cIt\u2019s a long-term strategy for fostering an environment where learning, healthcare, and the judiciary can thrive, enhancing trust within the community.\u201d<\/p>\n
