Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The lawmaker representing Kogi Central, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has claimed she has been going through a lot.<\/p>\n

She spoke during an interview with the host of Brekete Family, a Human Rights Radio and Television program, Ahmed Isah, popularly known as \u201cOrdinary President\u201d on Friday.<\/p>\n

This is coming after Natasha clashed with Senate President Godswill Akpabio during a plenary session over a seating arrangement in the Senate on Thursday.<\/p>\n

Recall that the altercation started when the female lawmaker discovered that her seat had been reassigned upon resumption of the session.<\/p>\n

Refusing to comply with the new arrangement, Natasha challenged the decision, sparking a heated exchange in the chamber.<\/p>\n

A viral video clip captured Natasha challenging Akpabio saying, \u201cI\u2019m not afraid of you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Speaking on the development during the Brekete Family program today, Natasha also said that a lot of her previleges have been denied.<\/p>\n

She said: \u201cMy attention was drawn that you were actually speaking about the issue on your program today, so thank you so much for your concern.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have been going through a lot and I have remained quiet because I didn\u2019t want to be interpreted wrongly. I didn\u2019t want any lawsuit against me.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just wanted to be given the chance to work. A lot of my previleges have been denied. I have been pulled out of many international activities that I have been part of since that whole night club incident that happened last year.<\/p>\n

\u201cInfact, there was even a United Nations event that I was supposed to attend which I was nominated for but my name was struck out. That they would not promote me in any event internationally.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo every event that I have been going to since last year has been self sponsored.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201d I have been going through a lot,\u201d. She added.<\/p>\n

\u201cYesterday, I didn\u2019t speak out of order. He was reading my suspension and I had to invoke Order 10 which is an order of priviledge.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Nigerian Senators from Kogi State have tendered apologies to the Senate President, Akpabio.<\/p>\n

There was a rowdy section at the upper chamber on Thursday, during plenary proceedings after lawmaker, Akpoti-Uduaghan, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party, refused to use a seat allocated to her.<\/p>\n
