The arrest followed credible intelligence regarding the suspects\u2019 hideouts in the area.<\/p>\n<p>According to Nguroje, the criminals opened fire on the police upon noticing their presence, leading to a gunfight. This exchange resulted in the capture of two suspects, identified as Mohammed and Halilu Mohammed.<\/p>\n<p>Nguroje further revealed that other gang members managed to escape with suspected gunshot wounds, and efforts are ongoing to apprehend them.<\/p>\n<p>During the operation, authorities seized several weapons, including two AK-47 rifles, 66 rounds of 7.62mm ammunition, a pump-action rifle, a Dane gun, and various charms.<\/p>\n<p>The Commissioner of Police praised the successful operation and reassured the public of the police command\u2019s dedication to combatting crime.
