Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Naira appreciated against the dollar to end on positive note at the official foreign exchange market on Friday.<\/p>\n

The Central Bank of Nigeria\u2019s exchange rate data showed that the Naira strengthened to N1,492.49 per dollar on Friday from N1,499.07 recorded on Thursday.<\/p>\n

Accordingly, this showed that the Naira appreciated by N6.58 per dollar on Friday compared to the N1,499.07 exchange rate on Thursday.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, at the black market, the Naira continued its depreciation against the dollar.<\/p>\n

According to a Bureau de Change operator in Wuse Zone 4, Abuja, Abubakar Alhasan, the Naira fell to N1,505 against the dollar on Friday from N1,500 recorded on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

In the week under review, The Naira experienced mixed sentiments of losses and gains across FX markets.<\/p>\n

At the official FX market, the Naira rose to N8.24 on a week-on-week basis when compared to N1500.07 per dollar recorded on Friday, 21st, 2025.<\/p>\n

In contrast, at the black market, the naira remained unchanged on a week-on-week basis.<\/p>\n
