Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Unknown gunmen shot a young lady when they invaded a pharmacy shop, abducted the proprietor and two of his sales boys at Agyaragu in Jenkwe development area, Obi LGA of Nasarawa state.<\/p>\n

The incident which took place on Thursday at about 8:44 pm lasted for about an hour without any security interference.<\/p>\n

A source explained that the gunmen invaded the popular \u2018Emmy Gold Pharmacy Nigeria Limited\u2019, shooting sporadically and gunning down a young lady who was a passerby.<\/p>\n

According to the source, \u201cThe gunmen were well armed. Their shooting scared everybody. They forced the owner of the pharmacy and two of his boys into the bush.\u201d<\/p>\n

The source called on the Nasarawa State governor to increase security presence in Agyaragu community and surrounding areas. He also appealed to security agencies to implement effective measures to prevent kidnapping and ensure the safe release of abducted individuals.<\/p>\n

Efforts to reach the spokesperson of the Nasarawa State Police Command to confirm the incident were not successful.<\/p>\n
