However, three plaintiffs\u2014Musa Halilu Ahmed, Alhaji Mustapha Dahiru Mustapha, and Alhaji Mustapha Ahmad, all prominent titleholders in the Adamawa Emirate\u2014filed a suit seeking to nullify the emirate\u2019s creation, arguing that it undermines the region\u2019s historical and cultural heritage.<\/p>\n<p>During the court session, the plaintiffs\u2019 lead counsel, Manga Nuruddeen (SAN), requested additional time to reply to the government\u2019s submission.<\/p>\n<p>Adamawa\u2019s Commissioner for Justice, Afraimo Jingi, disclosed that the government had initially sought to have the case dismissed on procedural grounds.
