Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Troops of Operation Safe Haven (OPSH) have arrested a notorious gunrunner and suspected kidnapper, Blessed Paul, in Garaje Community, Jema\u2019a Local Government Area of Kaduna State.<\/p>\n

Paul, 22, had been on the wanted list of security agencies for his alleged involvement in arms trafficking and kidnapping.<\/p>\n

After fleeing to Abuja to evade arrest, he was lured back under the guise of selling an AK-47 rifle for \u20a61.5 million.<\/p>\n

Unaware that his buyers were undercover troops, Paul walked into the trap and was swiftly apprehended. A search led to the recovery of one AK-47 rifle, an AK-47 magazine, and two rounds of 7.62mm (Special) ammunition.<\/p>\n

The suspect is currently in military custody providing intelligence to aid further crackdowns on his criminal network.<\/p>\n
