{"id":15557,"date":"2019-09-17T14:33:14","date_gmt":"2019-09-17T14:33:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.com\/nigeria\/?p=15557"},"modified":"2019-09-17T14:33:14","modified_gmt":"2019-09-17T14:33:14","slug":"shehu-sani-reveals-only-way-buharis-appointment-of-soludo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\/all-news\/shehu-sani-reveals-only-way-buharis-appointment-of-soludo","title":{"rendered":"Shehu Sani reveals only way Buhari\u2019s appointment of Soludo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Senator Shehu Sani, a former lawmaker representing Kaduna Central at the National Assembly, on Tuesday commended President Muhammadu Buhari for setting up a fresh Economic Advisory Council.<\/p>\n<p>The former lawmaker, however, pointed out that the team will function to the benefit of Nigerians if only their advice is tolerated by the Buhari government.<\/p>\n<p>Buhari, on Monday, constituted an Economic Advisory Council (EAC), dissolving the previous one led by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.<\/p>\n<p>The Presidency had said that the new team is made up of the following: Prof. Doyin Salami \u2013 Chairman; Dr. Mohammed Sagagi \u2013 Vice-Chairman; Prof. Ode Ojowu \u2013 Member; Dr. Shehu Yahaya \u2013 Member; Dr. Iyabo Masha \u2013 Member; Prof. Chukwuma Soludo \u2013 Member; Mr. Bismark Rewane \u2013 Member; Dr. Mohammed Adaya Salisu \u2013 Secretary (Senior Special Assistant to the President, Development Policy).<\/p>\n<p>In reaction, Senator Sani tweeted, saying instituting a new \u201cEAC, [is] a good step if their advice would be taken or their truth tolerated; Next should be Security advisory Council.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Senator Shehu Sani, a former lawmaker representing Kaduna Central at the National Assembly, on Tuesday commended President Muhammadu Buhari for setting up a fresh Economic Advisory Council.
