{"id":155810,"date":"2025-03-19T23:19:00","date_gmt":"2025-03-19T22:19:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\/uncategorized\/police-officer-dismissed-for-misconduct-in-abia"},"modified":"2025-04-03T18:09:47","modified_gmt":"2025-04-03T17:09:47","slug":"police-officer-dismissed-for-misconduct-in-abia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\/all-news\/police-officer-dismissed-for-misconduct-in-abia","title":{"rendered":"Police officer dismissed for misconduct in Abia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>Africa-Press &#8211; Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The Abia State Police Command has informed the public that Inspector Kufere Moses, with service number AP\/NO 338736, has been dismissed from the Nigeria Police Force.<\/p>\n<p>Inspector Kufere, formerly of Mopol 55 PMF Aba and attached to UBA Bank Guard in Aba, Abia State, was officially dismissed with effect from 21st February 2025.<\/p>\n<p>A press release issued on Wednesday evening by Police Public Relations Officer DSP Maureen Chinaka, on behalf of the Commissioner of Police, confirmed that the dismissed officer has also been de-kitted and all police accoutrements retrieved from him.<\/p>\n<p>According to the statement, the action followed administrative disciplinary measures taken against him by the Command for \u201cdiscreditable conduct and offences against discipline.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Commissioner of Police, Abia State Command, CP Danladi Isa, reaffirms the Command\u2019s zero tolerance for unprofessional conduct.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe assures the public that the Command will not condone the activities of bad elements within the force.
