We call on security agencies to investigate and fish out those behind this heinous act so that they will face the full wrath of the law,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Also speaking about the incident, a youth leader in the community, Alhaji Danjuma Ibrahim, who also confirmed the attack, said the body of the deceased had been deposited at the Barkin Ladi General Hospital and was expected to be buried today (Thursday).<\/p>\n<p>Danjuma, while condemning the incident, recalled that this was the third time the chairman had been targeted by gunmen, but they were unsuccessful until this latest attack.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, \u201cThe gunmen attacked him and shot him multiple times. There are bullet wounds on his body. After they shot him, they fled the area.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSecurity personnel, including police and soldiers, have responded because we were with them at the hospital when he was rushed there.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The youth leader described the attack on the MACBAN chairman as unfortunate, explaining that before his death, \u201che played a vital role in ensuring peace within the Barkin Ladi area.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHis demise will continue to linger in our memory because of his significance in sustaining peace in the community,\u201d he maintained.<\/p>\n<p>However, when the Public Relations Officer of the Plateau State Police Command, DSP Alfred Alabo, was contacted, he said, \u201cI\u2019m not aware of the incident because we have our channel of communication, so honestly, I\u2019m not aware yet.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>For More News And Analysis About <span style=\"color: #ff6600\">Nigeria<\/span> Follow <span style=\"color: #ff6600\">Africa-Press<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Africa-Press &#8211; Nigeria.
