Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Former Senate President Ahmed Ibrahim Lawan has expressed sympathy for the victims of the recent fire outbreaks that have affected several communities across Machina, Nguru, and Yusufari Local Government Areas of Yobe State.<\/p>\n

In a statement he personally signed on Monday, the lawmaker described the incidents as unfortunate, noting that they have caused significant loss and hardship.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy thoughts and prayers are with all those who have been impacted during this difficult time,\u201d he expressed.<\/p>\n

In times like these, he said, it is the collective responsibility of all to stand together, support one another, and provide relief to those in need.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs your representative in the National Assembly, I am committed to ensuring that the affected communities receive the necessary assistance to recover,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Lawan donated a total sum of N27 million and 300 bags of rice for distribution to victims in the affected communities. The donation aims to complement efforts by the Yobe State government in providing immediate relief to affected families and helping them recover from the devastating impact of the fire outbreaks.<\/p>\n

He assured that he will continue to work tirelessly to support communities and advocate for measures that will prevent such incidents in the future.<\/p>\n
