Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The Osun State Commissioner of Police, Mohammed Umar Abba, has ordered effective and extensive deployment of police officers as well as all necessary logistics to strategic points along the highways, places of worship, leisure parks, and all nooks and crannies of the state.<\/p>\n

According to a statement by the Osun State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Abiodun Ojelabi, the deployment is meant to assure the people of the state of the readiness of the command to guarantee adequate and intensive security during the Easter period.<\/p>\n

The statement read: \u201cThe Osun State Police Command, in its quest to continuously improve on the security situation of the state has intensified adequate security arrangements to ensure that this year\u2019s EASTER season is celebrated peacefully without fear of insecurity and the public holidays slated for Friday 18th and Monday 21st April, 2025.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis announcement is to re-assure the good people of the state about the readiness and level of preparedness of State Command to guarantee adequate and intensive security during this period and beyond.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Commissioner of Police, CP Mohammed Umar Abba, has ordered effective and extensive deployment of police officers as well as all necessary logistics to strategic points along the highways, places of worship, leisure parks and all nooks and crannies of the state.\u201d<\/p>\n

CP Umar Abba also warned criminal elements that the police will not condone any act that will truncate the peace of the state, as anyone found wanting will face the consequences of relevant laws.<\/p>\n

\u201cMembers of the public should always give prompt and credible information in order to prevent acts of lawlessness and all infractions of the law through these Emergency Control Room numbers, 08039537995 and 08075872433; and 09060052947, for complaint.\u201d<\/p>\n
